🤮 YUQ STUDIOS REVIVAL PROJECT

OUR REVIVAL STRATEGY

YUQ Studios is a queer-led creative house and home to photo, film and cultural production here in Los Angeles, CA. Since 2020, we’ve grown from a two-person team into a full creative hub with studios in DTLA and Mid-City, hosting shoots, community events and independent films. Now, we’re launching the YUQ Studios Revival Project — a transparent, community-driven fundraiser to rebuild and future-proof our spaces.

🪩THE PLAN

We’re raising $7,500 by the end of 2025 to support three initial phases:

• Phase 0: Stability – Keep operations strong as we grow.
• Phase 1: Mid-City – $4,500 to turn our Mid-City studio into a modular podcasting and content space.
• Phase 2: Queer Futurism – $1,500 for a new DTLA set celebrating queer imagination and identity.

Total long-term goal: $26,100 across six phases, including new sets, upgraded infrastructure and our first official YUQ HQ.

For five years, we’ve reinvested every dollar into queer art, drag performance, and independent filmmaking. With your support, we can keep building the sets, stories, and opportunities that make Los Angeles’ creative scene thrive.
